Would you love your yard to attract birds and butterflies?  Have you always wanted to have a beautiful landscape, but think you don’t have a green thumb? Join us for an Intro to Gardening With Native Plants! Crystal from Rust Belt Natives will share how you can create a low maintenance, environmentally friendly garden space, whether you have acres to plant, or just a small patio! Topics include choosing plants for your location, which plants will attract your favorite bird & butterfly species, and what to do about those pesky deer! We’ll end the evening with Q&A. Feel free to bring a photo of your space or garden to share with the group.  Crystal will also have native seed packets for attendees to take home.

Rock Talks with Erik Selinger

You’ve heard of TED Talks©? It’s kind of like that, but for rock music! It’s a new way to learn/think/talk about music. But it’s so much more. It’s history, literature, science, pop culture, and humor. And it’s free! Rock On! The Murrysville Recreation Department and Murrysville Community Library are excited to partner together to bring these programs to the Murrysville Community. Registration encouraged but not required. Walk-ups are welcome. Registration will be available soon on the Murrysville Community Library website under Events Calendar.
