Ken Serfass, a professional living historian, returns for another fascinating presentation on the Nazi Saboteurs at Horseshoe Curve During WWII. Ken visited us earlier this year as Ulysses S. Grant but this fall he will join us to give us insight on how the Nazis tried to cripple key points in the U.S. infrastructure during WWII by destroying key targets, one of them being the Horseshoe Curve located in Altoona, Pa. Ken will delve into this plan, known as “Operation Pastorius”, and how it was foiled in Altoona by the U.S. Coast Guard. Register here or call 724-327-2100 x131. This program is sponsored by the Murrysville Recreation Department and Murrysville Community Library
