Dr. Jeff Murphy, owner of Fitness Restored, will provide FREE Functional Movement Screenings. The Functional Movement Screen is a valid tool that helps individuals determine their injury potential while participating in exercise and sport, and it can help you determine the most beneficial exercises to help you reach your fitness goals with less chance of injury. This 6 week challenge will help you achieve your fitness goals by giving you the tools to living a healthy lifestyle! Nutrition education, weight control, goal setting and fitness classes are all rolled into one. The Fitness Restored Challenge program will be lead by instructor Jeff Murphy, who has a PHD in Exercise Physiology.
As a part of the Fitness Restored Challenge program you will:
- Work to achieve and maintain your ideal weight
- Learn about proper nutrition education
- Set weekly goals
- Participate in a twice weekly specified fitness program

Yoga in the Parks
Join Breathe Yoga for Yoga in the Parks this summer and fall. Classes are drop in, so advance registration is not required. Registration and payment will be handled on-site.
$5 per session, cash only

Docs in the Park “Everything starts with a Step”
The Murrysville Recreation Department is partnering with local physicians to offer a FREE walking program where the community can enjoy a walk in the great outdoors with friends, family and neighbors while conversing with physicians on a variety of health related topics.
Doctors are now prescribing nature and outdoor activities for their patients, but why? Spending time outdoors relieves stress, combats obesity, and has shown to have positive improvements in health overall. How can you incorporate outdoor activity in your life? Attend one or all of our sessions of Docs in the Park!
Dates: Mondays and Saturdays
