Environmental Advisory Council
The Environmental Advisory Council advises local governmental agencies, including the Planning Commission, the Parks and Recreation Commission, Council, and the Mayor on matters dealing with environmental impact statements and with protection, conservation, management, promotion and use of natural resources, including air, land and water resources, located within the municipality.
Franklin Township Municipal Sanitary Authority
The Franklin Township Municipal Sanitary Authority was established in December 1967 as a Municipal Authority by the Board of Supervisors of Franklin Township.
The Library Board of Trustees represents the public’s interest in achieving good library service.

Parks & Recreation Commission
The Parks and Recreation Commission makes recommendations to Council, the Mayor and the Chief Administrator pertaining to recreation programs and the purchase, development, maintenance, proposed uses, supervision and regulation of public park and recreation areas and facilities located in the municipality.
The Personnel Board is appointed by Council to provide advice on matters of personnel policy and more.
The Planning Commission advises Council, the Mayor, and the Planning Department upon all matters related to planning and development in the Municipality.
Zoning Hearing Board
The Zoning Hearing Board is a three-person panel that is appointed by the Municipal Council to hear appeals from property owners for relief from the Municipal Zoning Ordinance.
